Marcio was one of the first entrepreneurs to invest in e-commerce in Latin America. The executive founded Netshoes in 2000, in the back of his uncle's parking lot in the city of São Paulo and invested in online sales with the aim of democratizing access to products and services throughout the country. In December 2014, considered the largest sporting goods e-commerce in the world, the executive launched Zattini, the group's platform focused on the fashion and beauty market. In just 4 years, the group's fashion operation reached more than R$380 million in revenue. From 2009 to 2014, the company went from having consolidated revenues of R$155 million to reaching more than R$1.5 billion: growth of approximately 1,000% in 5 years.

Kumruian has a degree in economics from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and completed an extension in innovation and leadership from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, having accumulated stints as a keynote speaker at major global retail events such as NRF. The executive led the first Brazilian IPO exclusively on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and is considered one of the main entrepreneurs in Brazil, being recognized in prestigious awards such as entrepreneur of the year in technology by Istoé Dinheiro. In 2019, managing more than 2 thousand employees and revenue exceeding R$2.6 billion, Marcio led the process of selling the controlling of Netshoes to Magazine Luiza, a transaction considered one of the largest in the history of digital retail in Latin America. Today he is a mentor in the Endeavor startup acceleration program, professor at PUCRS and founder and CEO of Ziyou and Peça.Aí.
